Dr. Steven Long is passionate about nutrition and how diet affects your health and well-being.  Chiropractors look at your nutrition as the materials needed to maintain your health.  This includes the appropriate vitamins and minerals and right fats. Some foods should be avoided, while others consumed more frequently. You should consult Dr. Steve directly for your specific nutrient requirements, but here is a general list to consider.

 You should avoid:

    •    Smoking and Alcohol
    •    White refined sugar and candy
    •    “Fast Food," aka Processed foods.
    •    Caffeine, found in coffee and cola drinks
    •    A grain based diet, such as white rice,                pasta, breads and rolls.


You should increase your intake of:

    -Locally grown oraganic fruits and vegetables
